Saudi Arabia: Military Aid

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what involvement UK armed forces personnel have had in training Saudi armed forces in (a) cluster bomb use, (b) air warfare skills and (c) artillery techniques.
- Answer

UK Armed Forces personnel have had no involvement intraining Saudi armed forces in the use of cluster munitions since the UK signed the Convention on Cluster Munitions in 2008.
The UK has provided training courses for Royal Saudi Air Force personnel and artillery training for the Royal Saudi Land Forces.
