Emergency Services: Communication

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent assessment she has made of the adequacy of clear communications between police forces and ambulance services.

The Airwave network is used for critical communications by all three emergency services, and the performance of the network is constantly monitored. The effectiveness of the emergency services communications is also tested as part of regular scheduled counter terrorism exercises which take place around the country.
