Ministry of Defence: Disclosure of Information

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will take steps to postpone the publication of the report of the non-statutory inquiry established to investigate the notification and after-care of next-of-kin and families of armed forces personnel recently deceased until he has sought permission of the bereaved families named in that report.

Answer

The Army has postponed the publication of the non-statutory inquiry to address a concern raised by one family.
