Police: Consultants

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what consultancy work has been commissioned by (a) the Metropolitan Police and (b) other constabularies from the former Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner, Robert Frederick Quick.

Answer

The Home Office does not hold this information. It is for Police and Crime Commissioners and Chief Constables to determine whether and how to procure consultancy services.

The Government requires all public bodies to publish information on their spending, to provide transparency around the use of public money. For the Metropolitan Police Service, any spending over £250 is published annually on their website. www.met.police.uk/accessing-information/published-items/
