Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 29 November 2017 to Question 116560, what estimate his Department has made of the volume of HS2 construction vehicles in each local authority area along the Phase One route.

Answer

The estimate of the volume of HS2 construction vehicles travelling in each local authority area was derived from data in the Phase One Environmental Statement. The figures used for the purpose of determining the relative allocations from the HS2 Road Safety Fund are as follows:
