To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Written Ministerial Statement of 14 December 2017, HCWS356, on employment and support allowance, whether the payments in arrears will be up-rated in line with current inflation.

The appropriate arrears will be calculated in the normal way and in accordance with our legal obligations.
