To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Oral Answer to the Honourable Member for Ogmore of 15 January, 2018, what steps the Government is taking to ensure that local authorities are reimbursed for costs incurred by continuing services that were provided by Carillion.

The Government’s top priority is to safeguard the continuity of public services. We have been working with the Local Government Association (LGA) who have been supporting the local authorities to develop contingency plans. We will continue to work with the LGA and support local authorities as required.
