To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what alternative options to the re-signing of the lease for MoD St. Athan have been considered by his Department.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is committed to retaining a presence at MOD St Athan and officials at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation are taking forward engagement on the future arrangements, on behalf of the Department. A number of potential options are being considered, the nature of which are commercially sensitive while discussions are ongoing.
