Tornado Aircraft: Accidents

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 4 July 2018 to Question 158760 on Tornado aircraft: accidents, whether the GQ 5000 parachute was fitted as part of modification 2198 in 2007 and not 2010 as indicated in that answer.

Modification 02198B included the introduction of the GQ5000 parachute. This was a phased process, with implementation starting in 2007.
