To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what recent estimate his Department has made of the number of UK troops deployed in operations to tackle the international drugs trade.

Around 300 military personnel and two Royal Navy vessels are currently deployed on Maritime Security Operations that include Counter Narcotics, Anti-Piracy and Anti-People Smuggling.
