Question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the Salisbury convention will apply to manifesto commitments of the Democratic Unionist Party.

Answer

The Salisbury Convention is an important convention whereby the House of Lords does not vote against measures included in the governing Party's manifesto. The DUP are not in Government.
