To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with (a) the Secretary of State for Defence and (b) his Egyptian counterpart on that country's military objectives to defeat Zionism.

The Foreign Secretary has not discussed this subject with the Secretary of State for Defence or his Egyptian counterpart. Egypt has had diplomatic relations with Israel since the signing of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty in 1979.
