Type 26 Frigates: Procurement

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the change to the timescale for the Type 26 construction programme of gearbox delays.

Answer

The Type 26 construction programme is sufficiently flexible to accommodate changes to the delivery of equipment without unduly impacting the in-service dates of the ships.
