Government: Procurement

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to Part One of the National Disability Strategy published 28 July 2021, (a) whether her Department created a Disability Commissioning Taskforce of disabled people’s user-led organisations to improve disability organisations’ access to government contracts as planned in 2021 and (b) if she will publish a list of members of that taskforce.

Answer

The Disability Commissioning Taskforce was approved in 2021 , under the leadership of the VCSE Crown Representative Claire Dove CBE. It will meet for the first time on 26th January 2022 .
