To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to his oral statement of 16 January 2023 on Ukraine: Update, Official Report column 36, when he plans to complete the review of the number of Challenger 3 tank conversions.

As announced by the Secretary of State on 16 January 2023, the numbers of Challenger 3 Main Battle Tanks will be reviewed as a matter of priority following lessons learned from Ukraine, and to ensure the Army’s Main Battle Tank fleet remains sufficient to meet Defence’s needs.
