To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Transport on the role of active travel communities in improving health and wellbeing; and what joint work he is undertaking with that Department on that matter.

There have been no recent discussions. There is ongoing collaborative work between the Department of Health and Social Care and Department for Transport to deliver the Government’s ambition to increase the number of journeys made by cycling and walking.
