Northern Ireland Protocol

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps he is taking to help ensure that the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill contributes to peace in Northern Ireland.

Answer

As the Prime Minister set out to parliament on 27 February, the Windsor Framework brings stability, durability and legal certainty in Northern Ireland.

So therefore the Government will no longer proceed with the Bill and the EU will no longer proceed with their legal action against the UK.
