To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to para 2.37 of the Autumn Statement, CP 751 published on 17 November 2022, if he will provide regular updates on the long-term workforce plan.

We are committed to growing the National Health Service workforce, which is why we commissioned NHS England to publish a long term workforce plan to help recruit and retain more staff. This plan is currently being developed and we have committed to publishing it this year.
