NATO Response Force

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many troops he plans for the UK to contribute to the NATO Response Force in each of the next five years.

The UK has committed a brigade to the NATO Response Force until 30 June 2024 after which NATO will transition to NATO Force Model Allied Reaction Force, taking effect from 1 July 2024. NATO is yet to formally invite offers for commitments to the NFM Allied Reaction Force beyond 2024; as such we are unable to offer figures beyond this timescale.
