To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what estimate his Department has made on the number of beekeepers.

Our annual Hive Count exercise indicates that as of October 2022 there were 48,130 beekeepers in England and Wales registered on BeeBase – the National Bee Unit’s website.
