By-elections: Aberdeen South and Makerfield

Question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 29 May 2026, to Question 2754, on By-elections: Aberdeen South and Makerfield, if he will publish the reminder guidance issued to departments in the usual way by the Cabinet Office further to the three Parliamentary by-elections, and whether the guidance differs for English by-elections to Scotland.

Answer

As has been the case under previous administrations, the Government does not routinely publish internal correspondence. The reminder applies to all three by-elections taking place on 18 June as they are all by-elections to the UK Parliament.
