Nuclear Fusion: Job Creation

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what estimate he has made of the number of jobs expected to be supported by the UK's fusion energy programme by 2030.

Answer

With our recently published Fusion Strategy and record government investment, the UK’s fusion energy programme is expected to support over 10,000 jobs by 2030.
