To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what plans she has for permitted development rights for cross pavement electric vehicle charging to be introduced in England.

The Government understands planning is key to the rollout of EV charging infrastructure and is working to ensure the system supports installations.
As announced in April, we will introduce permitted development rights to expand EV charging provision, allowing for cross-pavement charging solutions and associated charging points.
