Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what is the total value that his Department plans to spend on munitions in each remaining financial year of the current Parliament.

Answer

The Defence Investment Plan outlined spending this parliament totalling £11.1 billion on weapons and munitions the breakdown of which by financial year (FY) is as follows:

FY2026/27

FY2027/28

FY2028/29

FY2029/30

£2.22 billion

£2.62 billion

£3.15 billion

£3.11 billion
