To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 11 June 2026 to question 7775 on Defence Nuclear Enterprise, what is the a) whole life cost, b) 2025/26 cost and c) 2026/27 budget for Astute.

The current estimated whole life cost for Astute is £11.59 billion.
The Ministry of Defence publishes annual Defence Nuclear Enterprise expenditure in the usual way through the Annual Report and Accounts.
