To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment her Department has made of the effectiveness and impact of the Defending Democracy Taskforce.

The work done by the Defending Democracy Taskforce and its members is vital in tackling threats to our democracy. Parliament is regularly updated about the progress and priorities of the Defending Democracy Taskforce, most recently in March 2026 when the previous Security Minister provided a statement on its work.
