Answer

Yes, the Defence Investment Plan includes short-range air defence. The SDR committed to enhance the UK’s homeland air and missile defences. We have delivered on this in the DIP by investing £790 million of new money in homeland IAMD. This investment is focused on sustaining key foundation capabilities and enhancing our Command and Control (C2), Sensing capabilities and effectors choices to meet the evolving threats.
