To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what estimate he has made of the proportion of the United Kingdom's demand for critical minerals currently met through domestic production.

The UK currently meets an estimated 6% of its demand for critical minerals through domestic production (defined as mining and/or refining/processing).
Based on production data from the British Geological Society and UK demand as calculated in the Critical Minerals technical annex - GOV.UK
