Kamil Idris
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether she has made an assessment of the potential impact of the visit by Kamil Idris on the Sudanese community in the UK.
- Answer
-
Kamil Idris's visit to the UK was not on the invitation of His Majesty's Government. The UK has been clear that it should be the people of Sudan who determine Sudan's future. We continue to engage with the Sudanese diaspora in the UK to discuss our response to the conflict, and pathways towards peace and a just, civilian led transition.
