RAF Barnham

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many members of the Home Office Oversight and Assurance Team will be stationed at MoD Barnham; how many full-time equivalent staff this represents; what their anticipated roles and responsibilities will be; and what the estimated annual cost of maintaining that on-site presence will be, broken down by salary, travel, accommodation, subsistence, and administrative costs.

The Government is considering the use of MoD Barnham for asylum accommodation. No final decision has been made.
Due diligence and assurance work for all proposed large sites including MoD Barnham is still ongoing. Once complete, approvals will be sought in the normal way and details published as appropriate for Government Major Programmes.
