To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, paragraph 62, what is the Planning Assumption for Service Entry for the Precision Strike Missile.

As part of the Defence Investment Plan the decision has been made to join the Precision Strike Missile Development Memorandum of Understanding and invest in an initial stockpile. The Land Deep Fires programme team is now engaging with both the US and Australia to negotiate this investment decision, including the date for a Planning Assumption for Service Entry and a Minimum Deployable Capability to be delivered.
