National Gallery

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, how much the National Gallery spend on the citizen's assembly provided by the Sortition Foundation.

Answer

The National Gallery report that the total budgeted cost for their Citizens Assembly is expected to be £250,000 over five years from 2025 to 2029. As part of this, the National Gallery contracted the Sortition Foundation to recruit a panel reflective of the UK population.
