As set out in the Strategic Defence Review and Defence Investment Plan, Defence must continually assess its capabilities against the evolving threat environment, operational requirements and available resources. Decisions are therefore kept under review to ensure investment remains focused on the capabilities that deliver the greatest military effect and warfighting readiness.
