Envoy IV Aircraft

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the press releasee entitled DE&S helps Royal Air Force's newest aircraft fleet reach full-service capability, published by the National Armaments Director Group on 2 August 2022, what progress has he made in modifying the Envoy IV fleet with military upgrades since July 2024.

Answer

The RAF Envoy IV continues to provide Command Support across a range of air mobility tasks. The MOD is considering several options to expand its future capability, including the incorporation of a number of military modifications to enable operations in non-benign airspace, but the work is currently paused whilst other activity has been prioritised.
