To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he plans to have with relevant stakeholders to help mitigate the potential impact of upcoming resident doctors' strike.

My Rt Hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, made an offer to the British Medical Association’s Resident Doctors Committee (BMA RDC) leadership on 12 June to seek a resolution to their ongoing dispute. The BMA RDC in response agreed to cancel their announced strike action from 15 to 19 June.
The BMA Resident Doctor membership is now voting on whether to accept this offer and resolve their dispute. Prior to the cancellation, my Rt Hon. Friend was working closely with NHS England and other system partners to ensure preparedness across the health service.
