To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Committee of Public Accounts Fifth Report of Session 2026-27 (HC95), paragraph 5, what is the full scope of the Ajax 2’package of upgrades currently being developed.

As advised within my last Written Ministerial Statement on 28 April 2026, we are considering a phased approach to the restarting of the Ajax programme. The first phase will include the restarting of the trials using the current version of Ajax.
As I have done since Exercise Titan Storm, I will continue to keep the House updated on progress of the Ajax programme.
