Tyres: Waste Disposal

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what plans she has to (a) remove and (b) replace the requirement for geo-tagged photographic evidence as part of the post-shipment information required under the enhanced verification procedure for Annex VII documents used in the export of end-of-life tyres.

Answer

The Environment Agency is not currently planning to remove or replace the requirement for geo‑tagged photographs. Where geo-tagged photos are not available alternative evidence will be considered.
