Chagos Islands: Sovereignty

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of the proportion of his Department's budget that will be been spent on the Chagos treaty in each remaining year of the current Parliament.

Answer

No payments are due under the terms of the UK-Mauritius agreement until the Treaty has been ratified.
