House of Lords: Select Committee Reports
- Question
-
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what arrangements have been made to publish regularly a list of the time they have taken to respond to reports from Select Committees of this House.
- Answer
-
Following my answer on 20 January to the oral question from the Noble Lord, Lord Hunt of Kings Heath, I have discussed arrangements with the Chairman of Committees in his capacity as Chairman of the Liaison Committee. In order better to inform the House about the time taken to respond to reports from Lords Select Committees, we have agreed that further data on response times will now be collected and made available by the House of Lords Committee Office. That information will be included in future reports of the Liaison Committee on investigative select committee activity.
