To ask Her Majesty’s Government what is the scope of the deep alliance between Abellio ScotRail and Network Rail, and what are the expected financial benefits of that alliance.

The Alliance Agreement is primarily a commercial matter between Abellio ScotRail Limited and Network Rail Infrastructure Limited. The terms of the agreement are published in the Alliance Agreement between Network Rail Infrastructure Limited and Abellio Scotrail Limited. A redacted copy is attached.
As the alliance relates directly to the ScotRail franchise awarded by the Scottish Ministers, the UK Government does not hold information on the expected financial benefits.
