To ask Her Majesty's Government what discussions they have had, and with whom, about any cooperation between the European Future Combat Air System and the UK Tempest programme.

We have held discussions with a number of European and other nations on future combat air systems. Effective international partnering offers the UK the best opportunity to deliver affordable military capability and our wider national objectives, while maintaining operational advantage and freedom of action.
