Gaza: Agriculture

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they are making to the government of Israel about the reported (1) destruction of crops, and (2) long-term damage to farmland, in Gaza caused by the use of herbicides by Israel.

We are aware of reports of the spraying of herbicides by the Israeli military. We will raise our concerns on this matter with the Israeli authorities in due course. Such damage is would be destructive to peace efforts.
