To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the potential loss of 1,500 jobs arising from Virgin Money's takeover of the CYBG plc banking group.

The Government has made no assessment of potential job losses arising from the takeover announcement.
In any case where job losses are announced, HMG stands ready to support employees who may be affected, and Job Centre Plus Rapid Response Service can be swiftly deployed as necessary.
