To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon on 3 September (HL7829), what advice they have given to the Palestinian Authority about how people in Palestine should respond to any attacks by the government of Israel.

The UK has urged Israel and the Palestinian Authority to work together to meet their obligations under the Oslo Accords. We call on all parties to abide by International Humanitarian Law and to promote peace, stability and security. We will continue to press Israel and the Palestinians strongly on the need to refrain from taking actions, which make peace more difficult.
