To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have, if any, to establish a national eye health and hearing study for the UK.
- Answer

There are no specific plans to do so. However, the National Institution for Health Research is currently funding a number of related studies, including a £1,586,456 study of neo-vascular age related macular degeneration and glaucoma and a £656,052 project on risk prediction.
