Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: Diagnosis

Question

To ask His Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the availability of timely access to testing for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosis within NHS England.

Answer

An assessment has been carried out by NHS England to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic affected access to spirometry testing. Healthcare systems also have access to various resources to meet the needs of their populations, including providing diagnostic testing.
