To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change pursuant to the oral answer of 17 May 2012, Official Report, column 681, on shale gas, if he will place a transcript of the seminar on shale gas in the Library.

It is not Government policy to release details of ministerial meetings with external parties as to do so could hinder open discussion between those parties’ and Government.
