Future Jobs Fund: Kilmarnock

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many people received assistance through the Future Jobs Fund in Kilmarnock and Loudoun constituency in (a) 2009, (b) 2010, (c) 2011 and (d) the latest period for which figures are available.

The Future Jobs Fund lasted between October 2009 and March 2011. Overall there were 450 starts to Future Jobs Fund vacancies in the Kilmarnock and Loudoun constituency: 40 starts in 2009, 310 starts in 2010 and 100 starts in 2011. Note that since placements usually lasted for six months, people who started in one year (e.g. 2009) might still be receiving assistance in the next year (e.g. 2010), so the number of starts in 2010 and 2011 will be different to the number of people receiving assistance in 2010 and 2011.
