Proceeding contribution from James Brokenshire (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 16 July 2014. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Relocation Scheme (Syrians).
Relocation Scheme (Syrians)
Of course. I am keen to support more local authorities signing up to the scheme. Across the UK, a number of local authorities have already indicated their willingness and we are in discussions with others that have expressed an interest. Obviously,
the scheme is based on vulnerability, including women and children at risk, medical needs and survivors of torture and violence.
