Proceeding contribution from Steve Baker (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 12 December 2017. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on European Union (Withdrawal) Bill.
European Union (Withdrawal) Bill
On the point made by the hon. Member for Rhondda (Chris Bryant) about amending the Act, which I will refer to in my own speech, I just want to draw the Committee’s attention to schedule 7(6)(2)(g). For us to amend the Act, any change would have to relate to the withdrawal agreement and its implementation and would be subject to a vote in both Houses.
